The Garden Project Host’s A Welcomes Back Weekender packed with Live Music, Kids’ Shows and More

@thehillsclubdubai

Let’s be honest,  the last week of summer holidays always sneaks up on us. One minute you’re still deciding which pool to hit next, and the next, uniforms are being ironed, and lunchboxes are being labelled. Before that Monday-morning school run takes over, The Garden Project is giving Dubai families one last proper send-off to summer.

Set in the heart of Emirates Hills, The Garden Project has quickly become one of the city’s go-to spots for green space, good food, and a genuine sense of community. Next weekend, it’s pulling out all the stops with the Welcome Back Weekender: two full days of live music, sports, kids’ entertainment, and enough craft stations to keep even the most holiday-weary little ones entertained.

Saturday is all about settling into a relaxed afternoon or evening with friends, family, and a rotating soundtrack of live music. There will be live sports, big quizzes, and food trucks on hand all evening, so just grab a bite and find a good spot by the stage to enjoy.

Saturday’s Entertainment Line-Up:
  • 4:30pm – 7:00pm: Acoustic Trio & Quiz
  • 7:15pm – 8:30pm: The Big Idea Duo
  • 8:30pm – 9:00pm: DJ Entertainment
  • 9:00pm – 10:15pm: The Anthems Collective Band
If Saturday is for unwinding, Sunday is for the little ones to burn off that last bit of summer energy. Think traditional Sunday lunch, back-to-school craft tables, face painting, and a live science show by Pro Show that’s bound to be the highlight of half-term. It’s the kind of low-key day that makes for the best one more weekend of holiday memories.

Sunday’s Kids’ Entertainment Line-Up:
  • 2:00pm: Back to School Craft Lab
  • 2:00pm: Face Painters
  • 3:00pm: The Kids Show — a live science show by Pro Show
  • From 5:00pm: Live music from Back Beat Boys and Brit-pop favourites Jack’s Union

With free entry, it’s an easy yes for anyone looking for something fun to close out the holidays. Whether you’re there for the acoustic sets and live sports on Saturday or the kids’ craft lab and live science show on Sunday, this is your last chance to soak up summer before the school bell rings.

Date: Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August.
