The UAE’s most awarded F&B leader, Paul started the Solutions Leisure Group in the early hours of the morning on the shores of Hurghada beach, Egypt, with friend and business partner, Freek Teusink. A passionate father, shark lover, motivational speaker and Amazon best-selling author of When I Woke Up, today, he has lead the group to own and operate over 40 venues of multi-award winning bars, entertainment outlets and restaurants interna- tionally. Paul’s perseverance to his vision, dedication and loyalty to his goals and objectives have significantly set him apart from the fierce competition he faces daily. Living by the motto, “as long as you have air in your lungs, you can go again,” Paul starts his day with gratitude, a walk on JBR beach and a green tea (later followed by a good coffee). When he’s not out motivating the team or cultivating new ideas and relationships, you can find him at home with his cat, Rooney (often known to play a disappearing act for a few days), diving off the coast of the Maldives, leading a press interview or let- ting off steam on the golf course.
